Date: July 2009 Venue: London to Eurotunnel (Folkestone), & Calais to Paris Occasion: Captain Phil Layton and Wes
Carroll take on the 2009 challenge of cycling from London to Paris, via
Calais, in just 3 days. It's an epic adventure, with terrible weather
conditions, but plenty of humour along the way.
This was a fundraising event for The Salvation Army, Hythe, made
successful by the generous support of our church members and groups,
local friends, family and businesses.

Date: June 2009 Venue: Hythe (various) Occasion: The
band and songsters from The Salvation Army in The Hague, Holland, came
for a weekend of music ministry and were absolutely superb in every
department!
These videos catch a glimpse of them marching through the town, playing
outside the Town hall, in the bandstand, at our worship hall, and No.
2-17 are full items as performed on the Saturday evening festival held
at the Brockhill Performing Arts Theatre.

'Songs of Praise' event at our sister church in Hastings. These are 2
of the musical items that contributed to our time of worship and
fellowship.

that happens to be trotting down the High Street...followed by a
rendition of Gooducking Wenceslas by the canal.

its symbolism to the growing number of children who attend our services.

Salvation Army, Hythe Corps, playing toward the end of a long, cold,

Bandmaster Richard Carroll, these are intended for anyone across the

groups...with a simple, but engaging retelling of the Bible's Nativity
story in a wonderful warm atmosphere.

'The Old Rugged Cross' played by The Salvation Army, Hythe Corps, brass
band, to an outdoor audience as part of a Town Bandstand series. The
compere's fun, background chatter, and SA flag help this video to pick
up the atmosphere - but bear it mind it was a very windy day!
