loves you and wants you to go to heaven.
The problem is that we do things which displease Him - things called sin - and so no matter how good we try and be, we can never be pure enough on our own merit to be with Him. That is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. Now all you need is to believe and have faith that Jesus Christ is God, that He lived a life without sin, and that He died for you - in your place - so that your sins would be forgiven. You can stand blameless in the presence of God. The plan is simple, and the ball is in your court. If you would like to place your trust in Jesus Christ you can do so simply by speaking to God right now, where you are - He's listening! God knows the intention of your heart. Dear Heavenly Father I admit that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died in my place, shedding His blood to pay for my sins, and that He rose again from the dead to assure me of eternal life. I am willing right now to turn from my sin and accept Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord. I commit my life to You and ask You to send the Holy Spirit into my life, to guide and control my thoughts and actions so that I can be the sort of person You want me to be. Thank You, father, for loving me. In Jesus' name, Amen. If this is the first time you have sincerely prayed such a prayer and placed your trust in Jesus....congratulations! Welcome to the spiritual family of God - you are now a member of the Church!!! If we never get to meet you here on earth, we look forward to seeing you in heaven. You may well feel the Holy Spirit's urge to tell someone about your new/renewed faith...don't resist it! We'd love to hear from you too...
